Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of BOR Desk, provided by Stratfield Partners LLC ("we"). By paying for BOR Desk you agree to them.
The service
BOR Desk helps an insurance agency prepare broker of record letters and ACORD 36 forms, collect electronic signatures, and prepare email drafts. We set up a private copy for your agency and keep it running, backed up and updated.
Price and billing
- Setup fee: $500, charged once.
- Subscription: $250 per month, charged monthly through Stripe. The first payment includes the setup fee and the first month.
- You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. We do not refund partial months. The setup fee is not refundable once setup work has started.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send out. BOR Desk reads documents with AI and shows you each field to confirm. Check every letter and form before it is signed or sent.
- You are responsible for following your license, carrier and distribution partner rules, and the law that applies to your clients, including rules about electronic signatures and broker of record changes.
- You keep your login private and only invite people you trust to use it.
Not advice
BOR Desk is software. It is not an insurance carrier, a law firm or a source of insurance or legal advice. The consent wording and certificate it produces are tools to help you, and we do not promise that any carrier or court will accept a given document.
Your data
Your clients, documents and signed packets belong to you. We use them only to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. On request we will give you an export, and delete your data after you cancel.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BOR Desk available but do not promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features, and we will tell you about changes that matter to how you work.
Liability
BOR Desk is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. We may update them, and continued use after an update means you accept it. We will tell you about material changes by email.
